Boy I sure hear ya on those toppers getting heavier every year! They make kits to add cross bars to them, don't know the load ratings, would that help? (yeah u may then need a step stool, but I need done for Blue when I wash her or work under the hood... and I'm 6-4.

I like the TR40 for interior space but want that bed length (the "workin" part of the truck) so hope the accessories show up shortly after launch so I can evaluate as a package.
