Layne at Denver Off Road, actually in the Grand Junction area now, is a really nice guy and makes a great product. He is as honest as they come.
As for a camper for your crew cab, You may want to talk to Northstar. They may be able to make an escape pod camper for our short bed Ute Bed that will fit a 6 foot bed. The issue that I am sure you are aware of is going to be your height/center of gravity. Given all the specs, I am sure they could build a camper unit that you would be happy with. Our Ute Bed for the crew cab is about 6' wide by 5'9" long.
