Anybody know if there are any SF East Bay dealers set up for Mahindra trucks?

The Mahindra NA dealer map shows a San Jose and several other NorCal dealers, but none that I know of have made any official announcement.

I would suggest that if you have the time; look at the dealer map (Mahindra Clean Diesel Pickup Trucks and SUVs), note the town and zip, and do some driving around or searching on the web. Keep in mind that all new Mahindra dealers are required to build a new building or utilize a section of building specifically for Mahindra. If you see an empty space at a dealership, they could be preparing for Mahindra.

And please let us know what you find!

The only CA dealer I have found (unconfirmed) is North Hills (Mahindra Planet: USA Mahindra Dealer Directory)

Granted, now that Mahindra has tried to upset the apple cart there is no telling who will be a dealer and who will be a distributor, but for the time being I am still referring to the dealer map on the Mahindra North America site (I guess it's maintained by GV). They've got a dot on Rochester, one at Ithica, Elmira and West Seneca. Granted, none in Wayland, still that's way closer than 200 miles.
There have been rumors of a system for getting factory authorized service in locations outside of a Mahindra dealer, for situations like yours.
Even if there are 350 dealers nationwide, that is only an average of 7 per state, and when states like Florida have what looks to be 23 locations, somebody's going to be in a state with fewer than average. It looks like there are about 11 dots in New York, so you're better off than Oregon with 4. It looks like by the time they got to choosing dealers in Oregon they weren't being too fussy about covering territory equally, because there are three bunched up together plus one just across the state line.

When I said none around me closer then 200 miles,I was referring to where I am in Oregon. In fact, there are none closer then around 280 miles. For upstate NY,I seen where the dots/dealers are,the closest one to where I'll be living is either Rochester or Elmira.Without some sort of dealer-service support to the outlying areas,at least for me,I won't bother with a Mahindra.Fact is,I am very doubtful about m&m anyways.Honest and open they are not.IMHO,that ain't any kind of way to enter the US market. We shall see what happens all across the board first.

Ah, Finger Lakes area near Lechworth SP. That's a really nice area of the state. I grew up in Binghamton area.

I wonder if there would be a tie-up with Mahindra tractor dealers for service.

Yup,Letchworth SP,the "grand canyon" of the east, been through there many many times.I can't think of a prettier place then the Finger Lakes region of NY.The fall riding is spectacular at the least, and plenty of places to take my 08 JK off roading. My wife and I have been out here for 10 years now and are looking forward to getting back home.

It seems that hooking up with Mahindra tractor dealerships might be the way for them to go until they sign enough dealers across the state. That is if they ever get their trucks here.It sounds like we,(the US) are nothing more then an afterthought and a hindrance right now.Talk about an outfit that is screwing the pooch.....

Where are you at?

I actually like Oregon, at least the half that is east of the Blue's is green. Idaho is very brown and dead, until you drive 100 miles from nowhere to see some forests.

I am assuming its the culture rather than the geography you aren't liking.
