So I really hope these trucks can at least keep up with a Prius...

I actually own a new 2010 Prius and it is just fine for 99% of daily driving. No one drives flat out floored anyway (I hope ). I am more concerned about the 0-30 time at 1/4 to 1/2 throttle and having that be adequate. Due to the low end torque I suspect it will be just fine. Under a load might be a real concern though. I guess we'll all know in the next 4 months.

Yeah my concern is how it will move while loaded, which is why I was trying to gauge power to weight ratio and "seat of the pants" feel based on 0-60 times. If it is 16 seconds 0-60 when empty, good luck getting up a hill and maintaining speed when loaded to max GVWR. But I'm spoiled by my modified Cummins that doesn't seem to care what I put behind it.

I bet that within a year there will be some tuners (Banks, Bully Dog) that are offering up some mild ECU tunes to help get an extra 20-35 hp and 30-40 more in torque. That should help some. It would certainly be at the top of my list of things to buy.
