4 cylinder tractor engines in Silverados? You guys have it all backwards... u need to put a 7.3 powerstroke into a Ranger... NOW we're talkin' "cool". Fuel mileage might not be "30 highway", but would be respectable considering there must be a 2500 lb delta between the Super Duty and Ranger bodies alone (Blue weighs 7000 lb even w/ a full tank). And think what a Ranger could do w/ 500ftlb torque @ 1600 rpm... Where's Tim The-Tool-Man Taylor when u need him?

I just know, given my luck, that the trucks will go on sale the same week in May that I go under the knife for a knee replacement.

Sorry Joe, for your sake I hope that doesn't happen that way. But . . . since I want a fiery black deluxe 4 x 4 TR20 also, it means I'd have a better chance of getting one. lol. Especially since we heard that 80% of the first shipment of trucks are to be TR40's.

Hey Joe, I am a physical therapist... I just love to see old guys cry....
Just kidding... But on the serious note, it won't be long before you can drive, however make sure you get clear by your doctor. One of my patient got hitting from behind, just a few weeks after her surgery, and I don't know what hurted her the most, hitting her knee on the dashboard, or hear that her insurance was not going to clear her because she was not supposed to be driving and was still under Dr's care... much less the other guys insurance... So be good, and good luck!!!

Oh yeah. I'm going to do exactly what the doc says. I've been doing exercises at least twice a day with ankle weights. The knee wouldn't stop me from buying the truck, except my wife may have to drive it home. But she's driven my F250 enough for me to feel comfortable with that.

Man, lucky! My wife won't touch Blue. Not sure why, we had a HD 3/4 ton Suburban many years ago and she used that to take the kids to soccer...

Good thing Mahindra is only offering an automatic tranny.
