A TR30 (extended cab) would have been ideal for me - will porbably just have to live with the short bed on the TR40.

Maybe on the next gen trucks Mahindra will identify some key elements for the US market that they'll need improve/modify/add/delete.

It think a TR30 is a good idea if the extended cab can actually fit a body back there and the bed is at least 6 feet long.

for that we might as well get a 3 liter diesel in a regual 1/2 ton truck, although I'd like that option too.

maybe GM will wise up and just drop that 2.9l motor from the Euro Caddy CTS into a 1/2 ton truck. They already have the motor, all they'd need to add is the exhaust treatment
