Default Factory or Aftermarket Options

Register to stop seeing this ad!

I know that one of the threads had people talking about options they'd like to have but I thought I'd break out a seperate thread on it.

I'd like these as options from either the factory or aftermarket:

-spray in bed liner
-skid plates
-bed extender
-internal/external tie downs
-appearance options (door handels, bumpers, door trim, etc)
-winch
-snorkel (well not for my use but I am sure people out there want this)
-bed delete option
-tonneau cover or bed shell
-performance parts (intake, exhaust, ECU, tires, suspension, etc)

Default aftermarket stuff...

IF I buy one, I would most likely fabricate a front bumper with a winch mount.

Today, I am on the fence.

Tomorrow, who knows??

The day I test drive one will be difficult, indeed.

Wheels/tires for me first. Second would be front and rear bumpers. I am hoping that DFW will start working on this as soon as they get their first trucks. But maybe Shrockworks or ARB will step up as well.

Give me a spray in bedliner, a durdy blonde, a handle of Cuervo Black tequila, and bed cover, then I'm good for a week or so, maybe.

I would start with a LineX bedliner in the bed and probably on the rockers. Tint the windows. Add off-road bumpers front and rear along with rock sliders on each side and skids underneath. Aftermarket intake and exhaust, along with a programmer when it becomes available. Neoprene seat covers, and an aftermarket wheel and tire combo.

lift kit
a standard bolt pattern on axels to get aftermarket bigger wheels and 35's
a industrial strength flag pole holder so I can fly a rememberance 3'x5' Earnhardt flag on race days
camo color option (but I can also get it anyway, camoclad.com)

And I STILL havent decided TR40 or TR20. Both appeal to me for different reasons.

Warb, welcome to the site!
Dave, yes! rear sliding glass, while not mandatory, is a very nice option to have! I haven't seen nor heard if it'll be available factory, but if not, someone will design a version for it...
