Register to stop seeing this ad! Just wanted to drop everybody a quick hello. I too am anxiously awaiting the arrival of the Mahindra pickup in the U.S.I was recently in Peru and had the opportunity to ride in/drive a Toyota Hilux, and I loved the thing! This got me searching for compact US diesel trucks, learning about Mahindra, and finding this forum. I'd like to replace my 08 Tundra with a TR40. I mainly like the smaller size and more efficient diesel engine. I am disappointed that the TR40 comes with an automatic transmission, electronic transfer case shifter, stability control, and traction control. I was hoping for a basic truck without all of the electronics, like the Toyota Hilux - but I guess this is as good as it will get for now. Looking forward to reading more in this forum. |
