Just found out about these Pick ups and decided to come over here to get the real story on these things.


One I heard of a Pick up that could tow 5000 pounds and Haul my family of 4 with 30 MPG, I thought, Hey I can replace the old F150 and Versa with one vehicle.

My Only concern right now is the safety aspect. Only front airbags doesn't say much for the effort so far, but I do appreciate ESP

well we do know that they have to meet crash test standards and those are pretty high here in the US. I think they'll be about as safe as any other truck.

4 wheel ABS is more than I had with my 2005 Dodge so that is a plus.

The US government (especially this administration!) would never allow a car to enter the market without meeting safety standards. Just look at how the Department of Transportation has responded to Toyota’s recall crisis – they just slapped on them the maximum fine and have grilled its executives at congressional hearings.

As Pete suggests, just sit back and relax with the rest of us in the ‘waiting room.’ I’ve definitely been in the room for some time now but I’m still confident that the wait will be worth it!

Hay, I waited for a year for our last car after it was ordered

Learned a lot in that time, but then again others had them in their garages to let us waiters know what was what.

You never know - you may see them on the road. I've read a couple of posts from people that have spotted them. If you do, definitely ask if you can get behind the wheels! I'm definitely looking forward to my first test drive.
