It finally looks like we may be nearing the introduction of the Mahindra here, huh?

I've been on such a frustrating quest to find a compact truck or SUV oil burner and get so damn mad when I read about the new model reviews in the EU rags, or see them in person when I travel to Australia on business.

We could have the awesome Subie diesel, MAzda's CX-7 diesel, Hilux, or a host of others, but I keep reading the same inane mantra that "Americans won't accept diesels." Says who??? More torque, better mileage, ability to run biodiesel...what's not to love?

Rant off.

Thanks Mahindra for having the cojones to bring this in. I'll be waiting in line to get one.
