This truck is really getting shredded in the comments following the spy photos. Everyone is all worked up about how it looks "old style", and it does. It looks out dated and that leads people to think that the technology is outdated. Truthfully, it looks like everything but the diesel engine may actually be outdated. However, I like older trucks.
The looks are not a problem for me -- but the price is. I would like to see this truck in a stripped down version.

The front end in that photo above is NOT simple. Otherwise, I like the looks fine. Hopefully that's just a "disguise" for a test vehicle or they will otherwise clean it up before production. All the prior photos show a black front bumper, which seems much less offensive.

those pics that have the grille blacked out make it look better.
I really think they need to reconsider the front bumper and grille.
That being said, it's not a deal breakers for me.
Can't wait to see them in person and drive one.

It looks like it's happy to see me? It needs to have the cow pusher changed for a something more useful like front receiver/winch/full front end protection bumper!

I don't think looks amount to anything, how it works is vastly more important. I agree with other posts that a stripped down version would be preferrable to the packaged features being presented. The Mahindra spec sheet was a disappointment, the differences between standard and deluxe made little sense. I suggested to them that a description of the two vehicle levels should accompany the specs and why would cruise control not be available on the standard type. Deluxe was too much while standard was filled with wrong choices. In summary, give it to us in a bare bones form and let the buyer add a few options or move up to the deluxe. I want a stick with cruise control, a radio and maybe a better color than 3 primers and red!

I'm ripping the bumpers off first thing and adding welded tubes and leveling the frontend.
