Buffoons....no,arrogant.....hell yeah.M&M is a real big company that came from humble beginnings,that can't be taken from them.However,it's their arrogance that really stands out,and their total lack of business acumen,at least where doing business here in the USA is concerned.And in truth,I find that to be a sad thing.2 years ago when I found out about their trucks being brought into our country I was elated.FINALLY someone figured out what we,(the truck buying public) really wanted....and they knew it.Then all the delays,the beef with GV etc.Now the ONLY reason I want them to succeed is so the more reputable manufacturers will "jump on the diesel bandwagon" and give us choices from our favorite makers.We shall see................."and the beat goes on"

I have a sneaking suspicion Toyota will have a diesel in the next generation Tacoma due out in 2012 .

doubt it. They probably have that Tacoma 99% finished up in terms of development. Maybe on the refresh but they need a couple of years of tests, not enough time for 2012.

hey Mahindra planet have yiu heard when production will start ? Also when will nation wide advertising like commercials on t.v.. Will it be advertising before the trucks are here or after they arrive? And also when will the dealers be getting their training and parts inventory? Alot of unanswered questions. bye for now.

The links, especially the Indian one, was interesting. They seem to think the US is flooded with quality SUVs. We have been getting hybrid trucks at work, and we have not been happy with them. Maybe my work place is the exception since vehicles get rugged use, but we have problems in snow plus we burn out transmissions. The hybrid Escape that gets only highway miles has been trouble free, but that is a waste of that style SUV.

As much as I am waiting for the truck, I think the Scorpio will be a much bigger hit then the truck for anybody that does any four wheel driving. I have no doubt that hybrids cannot compete with diesels in four wheeling.
