this is the same 2-3 weeks reported on earlier. Still it is nice to see that Mahindra themselves are working getting us some actual timelines that "should" be final.

Hopefully the announcement will also include some additional details about the truck, I am probably just dreaming though.

Yeah its pretty much the same info as the article from the end of last week but wanted to make sure everyone saw some quotes from our Indian friends. I hope there is some additional detail as well, but were probably both dreaming a little. I think there might be at least a picture of one in the back round (if that, when they announce the sale date). Rest assure that once its announced GV will be pumping out as much info as possible, I hope!

As near as I can figure out from looking at the Wallenius site it's going to take the RORO, probably the MV Endurance, about 30 days from Mumbai to Brunswick.

That's assuming they get past the pirates in Somalia without getting hijacked.

I wish they would release some photos of the American version when they make the call two/three weeks from now. Maybe release a little more specifics about the vehicle in order to calm my nerves. That would be the best alternative right now to sitting in one, taking it out for a test drive.
