Default Municipal Bonds are going down the tubes

Register to stop seeing this ad!

Harrisburg, Pennsylvania is considering bankruptcy based on bond repayments.

This'll be the first of many.
Remember, most cities and states used the Stimulus Money to complete their budgets at the time. Now, those same states and cities are broke.

Hopefully this doesn't effect Texas, particularly the greater Houston area as I have a very large chunk of my savings in a municipal bond out there...

Well, it was short term and I have received all me interest payments up to this point. 6 more months and I am in the clear, so I am hoping that things will hold up till then.
