...not much.

Maybe 800 pounds.

The Kei truck (as they are known in Japan) is usually powered by a 500-800cc powerplant mounted behind the cab.

They are very small and really not designed for driving (as we know it) in the USA. If one were involved in an accident the driver would be in big trouble because of the lack of impact features normally found in just about any other vehicle! Also, just about every on the vehicle on the road (perhaps even the Smart Car!) would outweigh and outperform a Kei truck.

If you want to see what a Kei truck does when driven recklessly, take a look at this video from BBC's Top Gear:

Video - Top Gear - BBC America

(about 3:30 in - a slightly larger version of the Suzuki Kei van)

BTW, if you go to the bottom of the page at Mini Hauler USA - Fully Refurbished and Customized Japanese Kei Class Mini Trucks, you will see this statement:

All UNITS ARE SPEED REGULATED TO 25 MPH OR LESS FOR EXCLUSION / COMPLIANCE WITH EPA 40 CFR 85.1703(a) SECTION 1
THESE UNITS ARE MANUFACTURED & INTENDED FOR OFF-ROAD USE ONLY.

If only I could drive it on the streets.... (sigh)

They are tiny,it may look like the old Ford Van-up of the 60s but are much smaller in person.

As far as the mini and Ranger go's , that's like crashing a Ranger into a F250 which I'm sure the F250 would win??? The state law map show's no laws in WV?? Does that mean I can get one street legal? I see a few on the road here/
