I felt like I was tucked down inside a box peeking out the front window (you sit really low in these things or the window sills are just really high). Views out of the left & right windows were restricted and out the back was just terrible.

I also hated the way it drove. I was completely & utterly disappointed too as I really have loved my Honda's. I'm not sure why, but the thing drives really strange to me.

So....a Toyota owner I became and picked up a Tundra. Much, much better view in the Tundra from all sides and it feels like a truck, not a car-that-looks-like-a-truck.

I honestly WANTED the Ridgeline to drive great because I'm such a fan of Honda's, but I was completely disappointed. Here's hoping the Mahindra isn't such a disappointment as the Ridgeline was.

Also, what's with the trunk? If ya have a load of dirt in the bed and you need to get in the trunk, how's that going to happen? I never could figure out why the stuck a trunk in the bed of the truck. Strange if you ask me.
That is funny because after owning two Tacomas and driving the new Tundra I felt completely opposite. To each his own.

After driving Toyotas, the Ridgeline drives like a Lexus.

Also, the trunk is fantastic for a lot of things. How often is the bed going to be full? Maybe a lot for you, but for me only occasionally. The guy that developed the Ridgeline spent a lot of time watching what people needed out of a truck.

Ahh....good points on the trunk. I just couldn't figure out why they put one in there. But makes sense.

Yeah, I really wanted to like the thing, but I really didn't like the way it drove & didn't like that "tucked down into a cockpit" feeling that it gave me. But they do seem to be popular.

Nice truck!! Ive thought about getting a moon visor, but haven't manned up enough to drill holes in my roof.

Clean rig there - What makes you want to get rid of 'er?

Also, is that a PURPLE taurus?

tnx. The visor looks cool, but adds even more wind noise @ speed (not that I can really here anything over the engine anyway).
Blue is rusting a bit more than I'd like (the bed mounts and rocker panels), but my oldest boy is making noises that he wants him so we may do some welding this spring. We'll see. I'm really looking for something smaller is what it comes down to. A TR20 might be about perfect.
And no, that is not a purple Taurus, it's a "rose mist" Taurus thank you very much... hahahaha...
It was replaced last summer (just after the pic was taken) by a normal-color Fusion.

Rust on a '99?

You need to move down south my friend. If salt is on the road you better believe someone dropped their order of fries leaving McDonalds.

LMAO!

Yeah, I hear ya. It's pretty common to see rusty SD's, and pretty much anything else that works for a living, up here. I've had him for many years now but he was a plow truck for a landscaping company in his previous life. Blue's from central MA where they get LOTS of time to practice snow removal and salt application. We don't get the snow here on the coast, but "salt mists" are not uncommon at all. Only the strong (and garaged) survive...
